Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the LH front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket.

    2. Object Number: 839796 Size: SH
  2. Remove the bolts (1) and the yaw rate sensor bracket (2).

    3. Object Number: 2023078 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the yaw rate sensor electrical connector (1).
  4. Remove the yaw rate sensor (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2023078 Size: SH
  1. Install the yaw rate sensor (2) to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the yaw rate sensor electrical connector (1).

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 839796 Size: SH
  3. Install the yaw rate sensor bracket (2) and the bolts (1).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the yaw rate sensor bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  4. Install the LH front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket.
  5. Using the scan tool, perform the yaw rate sensor zero point calibration under the special functions menu.
