Important: Ensure that the keyless entry transmitter is the correct model for the vehicle remote system. Important: Failure to initiate the keyless diagnostics properly will result in a mis-diagnosis. Perform the keyless transmitter diagnostics. To initiate the diagnostics:
The dome lamp will light for 0.25 second, extinguish for 0.25 second and then light for 0.5 second. This will confirm that the sequence was completed properly and remote control door lock receiver is in diagnostic mode. Did the dome lamp react as described? | Go to Step 7 | Go to Step 13 |
