Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 824937 Size: SH
  1. Remove liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Open the liftgate.
  3. Disconnect cable from handle.
  4. Remove the 2 nuts (1) from the liftgate handle (2).
  5. Remove the liftgate handle (2) from the liftgate applique studs (3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 824937 Size: SH
  1. Install the liftgate handle (2) to the liftgate applique studs (3).

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the 2 nuts (1)to the liftgate handle (2).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the liftgate handle nuts to 4.0 N·m (35 lb in).

  3. Connect the cable to liftgate handle.
  4. Install liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. Close the liftgate.
