Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to SIR Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2023576 Size: SH
  1. Disable the SIR System. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
  2. Remove the front side door sill trim plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement.
  3. Remove the rear side door sill trim plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement.
  4. Remove the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement.
  5. Remove the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement.
  6. Remove the seat belt shoulder guide from the seat belt height adjuster.
  7. Remove the seat belt height adjuster bolts (1) and the seat belt height adjuster (2)

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Install the seat height adjuster (2) to the vehicle. Secure the adjuster with bolts (1).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the front seat shoulder belt retractor tension adjuster bolt to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).

  2. Install the seat belt shoulder guide to the seat belt height adjuster.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the front seat belt shoulder guide to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).

  3. Install the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement.
  4. Install the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement.
  5. Install the front side door sill trim plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement.
  6. Install the rear side door sill trim plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement.
  7. Enable the SIR System. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
