If a malfunction in the speed sensor signal circuit or the yaw rate sensor circuit occurs, the 4WD control module will output this DTC.
This diagnostic procedure supports the following DTC:
DTC C1298 Linear Solenoid Circuit
This DTC shall run when the ignition is On.
For 1 second or more, with the current of 0.8 A or more, an open or short in the linear solenoid circuit occurs.
The 4WD control module will prohibit operations by the fail safe function.
The DTC will clear when conditions for setting the DTC have been repaired.
