J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

1. Apply protective tape (1) around the rear fascia assembly.



2. Remove the push-in retainer from each side of the rear fascia.



3. Remove the four push-in retainers (1) from the rear bumper fascia, using the J 38778 .
4. Remove the two rear bumper upper stoppers (2).



5. Disengage the retainers from the left and right sides of the rear bumper fascia.



6. Disengage the inner retainer (1) from the left and right sides of the rear bumper fascia (2).
7. Remove the rear bumper fascia (2) from the vehicle.
8. Remove the rear bumper fascia extensions, if equipped. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement .
9. Remove the rear bumper lower fascia, if equipped. Refer to Rear Bumper Lower Fascia Replacement .

1. Install the rear bumper lower fascia, if removed. Refer to Rear Bumper Lower Fascia Replacement .
2. Install the rear bumper fascia extensions, if removed. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement .
3. Position the rear bumper fascia (2) to the vehicle.
4. Engage the inner retainer (1) on the left and right sides of the rear bumper fascia (2).



5. Engage the retainers from the left and right sides of the rear bumper fascia.



6. Install the two rear bumper upper stoppers (2).
7. Install the four push-in retainers (1) to the rear bumper fascia.



8. Install the push-in retainer on the left and right side of the rear fascia.



9. Remove protective tape (1) from around the rear fascia assembly.
