Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 2006729 Size: SH
  1. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.
  2. Disengage the two clips (1) and separate the wire harness.
  3. Remove the front bumper fascia energy absorber. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement.

    4. Object Number: 2006730 Size: SH
  4. Remove the 4 nuts which secure the front bumper impact bar.

    5. Object Number: 242301 Size: SH
  5. Remove the front bumper impact bar (1) from the front bumper impact bar outer brackets.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2006730 Size: SH
  1. Install the front bumper impact bar to the front bumper impact bar outer brackets. Secure the impact bar with the 4 nuts.

    2. Tighten the front bumper impact bar nuts to 36 N·m (26 lb ft).

  2. Install the front bumper fascia energy absorber. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement

    3. Object Number: 2006729 Size: SH
  3. Position the wire harness and engage the two clips (1).
  4. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.
