Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 431893 Size: SH
  1. Remove the hood secondary catch and primary latch. Refer to Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Replacement.
  2. Remove the input air temperature sensor (2) connector from the center support (1).
  3. Remove the upper fascia plastic retainer from the top of the center support.

    4. Object Number: 239366 Size: SH
  4. Remove the following components from the vehicle:
    5. • The 2 bolts
    • The center support (2)

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 239366 Size: SH
  1. Install the center support (2) to the vehicle. Secure the support with the 2 bolts and tighten to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

    2. Object Number: 431893 Size: SH
  2. Install the input air temperature sensor (2) connector to the center support (1).
  3. Install the hood secondary catch and primary latch. Refer to Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Replacement.
  4. Install the upper fascia plastic retainer to the top of the center support.
