Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and suitably support the hood.
  2. Remove the hood secondary catch and primary latch. Refer to Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Replacement .
  3. Remove the hood primary latch cable release lever. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle Replacement.

    4. Object Number: 2014620 Size: SH
  4. Using a taped flat-bladed tool, disconnect the hood latch cable clamps.
  5. Pull the cable at the grommet (1) from the engine compartment and remove it.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2014620 Size: SH
  1. Position the cable at the grommet (1) to the engine compartment and install it.
  2. Connect the hood latch cable clamps.
  3. Remove the hood primary latch cable release lever. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle Replacement.
  4. Remove the hood secondary catch and primary latch. Refer to Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Replacement .
  5. Close the hood.
