Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 2014637 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the latch cable (1).

    3. Object Number: 2014643 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the rod (1).

    4. Object Number: 2015064 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector (2).
  5. Disengage the two clamps (1).

    6. Object Number: 2014645 Size: SH
  6. Remove the three bolts (1).
  7. Remove the liftgate latch assembly (2) from the liftgate.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2014645 Size: SH
  1. Install the liftgate latch (2) to the liftgate.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the bolts (1) to the liftgate latch (2) and tighten to 12 N·m (9 lb ft).

    3. Object Number: 2015064 Size: SH
  3. Engage the two clamps (1).
  4. Connect the electrical connector (2).

    5. Object Number: 2015066 Size: SH
  5. Connect the rod (1).

    6. Object Number: 2014637 Size: SH
  6. Connect the latch cable (1).
  7. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement.
