Removal Procedure
- Disengage the two clips and slide the rear view mirror cover, if equipped.
- Disengage the two retainers and remove the inner rear view mirror cover, if equipped.
- Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the rearview mirror, if equipped.
- Remove the screw (2) from the rear view mirror.
- Slide the rear view mirror assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and remove the rear view mirror.
Installation Procedure
- Slide the rear view mirror assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to install it.
- Install the rear view mirror screw (2) and tighten to 2.5 N·m(22 lb in).
- Connect the electrical connector (1), if equipped.
- Engage the two retainers and temporarily install the rear view mirror cover, if equipped.
- Slide the rear view mirror cover and engage the two retainers as shown in the illustration to install the cover, if equipped.
