Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 2014649 Size: SH
  1. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement.
  2. Disconnect the rod (1).

    3. Object Number: 2014651 Size: SH
  3. Remove the two bolts (1).
  4. Remove the liftgate lock actuator (2).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 2014651 Size: SH
  1. Install the liftgate lock actuator (2) to the liftgate.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the liftgate lock actuator bolts (1). Tighten liftgate latch bolts to 7.5 N·m (66 lb in).

  3. Connect the rod (1).
  4. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement.
