Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 2014724 Size: SH
  1. Remove the left front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. Remove the left body hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the left front and rear side door sill trim plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  4. Remove the left center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. Position the floor panel carpet aside to access the fuel tank filler door latch release cable.
  6. Remove the fuel tank filler door lock actuator. Refer to Fuel Tank Filler Door Lock Actuator Replacement .
  7. Disconnect the fuel tank filler door latch release cable (2) from the fuel tank filler door lock actuator (1).
  8. Remove the left lower quarter trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement .

    9. Object Number: 2014727 Size: SH
  9. Disengage the two tabs (3) and disconnect the fuel tank filler door latch release cable (2) from the fuel filler door retainer (1).

    10. Object Number: 2014729 Size: SH
  10. Unclip the release cable (1) from the nine retaining clips and remove the cable from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2014729 Size: SH
  1. Install and route the fuel tank filler door latch release cable (1) to the vehicle. Secure the cable to the nine retaining clips.

    2. Object Number: 2014734 Size: SH
  2. Engage the two tabs (3) and connect the fuel tank filler door latch release cable (2) to the fuel filler door retainer (1).
  3. Install the left lower quarter panel trim. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 2014724 Size: SH
  4. Connect the fuel tank filler door latch release cable (2) to the fuel tank filler door lock actuator (1).
  5. Install the fuel tank filler door lock actuator. Refer to Fuel Tank Filler Door Lock Actuator Replacement .
  6. Reposition the floor panel carpet.
  7. Install the left center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  8. Install the left front and rear side door sill trim plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  9. Install the left body hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
  10. Install the left front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
