Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 866289 Size: SH
  1. Remove the hole plug (2).
  2. Remove the following components from the outside door handle (3):
    3. • The TORX screw
    • The door lock cylinder (1)

    Object Number: 2014695 Size: SH
  3. Using a flat-bladed tool, disengage the two clips and remove the front door outside handle cover.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2014695 Size: SH
  1. Engage the two clips and install the front door outside handle cover.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 866289 Size: SH
  2. Install the door lock cylinder (1) to the outside door handle (3). Secure the lock cylinder with the TORX screw.

    3. Tighten the door lock cylinder bolt to 4.0 N·m (35 lb in).

  3. Install the hole plug (2).
