Removal Procedure
- Open the liftgate.
- Disengage the retainers and remove the rear tail lamp access trim panel.
- Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
- Disengage the clamp (2).
- Remove the nuts (1).
- Disengage the guide (1) and remove the tail lamp assembly.
- Remove the rear turn signal lamp bulb. Refer to Rear Turn Signal Lamp Bulb Replacement.
- Remove the rear tail lamp bulb. Refer to Tail Lamp Bulb Replacement.
- Remove the back up lamp bulb. Refer to Backup Lamp Bulb Replacement.
- Remove the rear tail lamp gasket.
- Disengage the guides (3).
- Disengage the retaining tab (1).
- Remove the tail lamp harness (2).
Installation Procedure
- Engage the retaining tab (1) and install the lamp harness (2).
- Engage the guides (3).
- Install the rear tail lamp gasket.
- Install the rear turn signal lamp bulb. Refer to Rear Turn Signal Lamp Bulb Replacement.
- Install the rear tail lamp bulb. Refer to Tail Lamp Bulb Replacement.
- Install the back up lamp bulb. Refer to Backup Lamp Bulb Replacement.
- Engage the guide (1) and install the rear tail lamp assembly.
- Install the nuts (1) and tighten to 6.4N·m(57 lb in).
- Engage the clamp (2) and connect the electrical connector (1).
- Engage the retainers and install the rear tail lamp access trim panel.
- Close the liftgate.
