Special Tools

J 22928-B Seal Installer

  1. Apply MP grease to the lip of a new rear crankshaft oil seal.

    2. Object Number: 2017713 Size: SH

    Note: 

       • Do not tap on the oil seal at an angle.
       • Keep the lip free from foreign matter.

  2. Using J 22928-B installer  (2) and a hammer, tap in the rear crankshaft oil seal until its surface is flush with the rear oil seal retainer edge.
