Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2009 🢒 Vibe - AWD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 1.8L (LAY) 🢒 Intake Manifold Installation

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2017007 Size: SH
  1. Install the radio setting condenser with the bolt (1) and tighten to 10 N·m (7 lb ft).
  2. Install the thermostat.
  3. Install the inlet water.

    4. Object Number: 2017005 Size: SH
  4. Install the inlet water hose with the 2 clamps (1, 2).
  5. Install the water by-pass hose with the clamp.

    6. Object Number: 2017002 Size: SH
  6. Install the water by-pass pipe with the 2 bolts (1, 2) and tighten to 21 N·m (16 lb ft).

    7. Object Number: 2017001 Size: SH
  7. Connect the water by-pass hose (1) to the inlet water housing.
  8. Install the ventilation hose.
  9. Install the 4 ignition coils with the 4 bolts and tighten to 10 N·m (7 lb ft).
  10. Install the fuel injector assembly.
  11. Install the delivery pipe spacer.
  12. Install the fuel delivery pipe assembly.
  13. Connect the fuel tube assembly.
  14. Install a new gasket to the intake manifold.

    15. Object Number: 2016992 Size: SH
  15. Install the intake manifold and intake manifold stay with the 4 bolts (1, 3, 5, 6)and 2 nuts (2, 4) and tighten to 28 N·m (21 lb ft).

    16. Object Number: 2016990 Size: SH
  16. Connect the 2 water by-pass hoses (1, 2).
  17. Connect the ventilation hose to the intake manifold.
  18. Install the air tube with the 2 bolts and tighten to 10 N·m (7 lb ft).
  19. Install the wire harness bracket and tighten to 10 N·m (7 lb ft).
  20. Install the bolt and fan belt adjusting bar and tighten to 19 N·m (14 lb ft).
  21. Install the engine hanger.
  22. Remove the engine stand.
  23. Attach the engine to the sling device with the chain block.
  24. Remove the engine from the engine stand.
