Assembly Procedure

    Object Number: 2014274 Size: SH
  1. Coat the oil pump drive and driven rotors with engine oil, and place them into the oil pump with the marks (1) facing the oil pump cover side.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2014261 Size: SH
  2. Install the oil pump cover with the 5 bolts (1-5) and tighten to 8.8 N·m (78 lb in)..

    3. Object Number: 2014259 Size: SH
  3. Coat the relief valve (3) with engine oil.
  4. Insert the relief valve and spring (2) into the pump body hole.
  5. Using a 27 mm socket wrench, install the plug (1) and tighten to 49 N·m (36 lb ft).
