    • EN-46116 Valve Stem Seal Remover/Installer
    • EN-46353 Valve Spring Compressor Adapter
    • J-8062 Valve Spring Compressor

    Note: Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.

  1. Remove the valve stem caps from the cylinder heads.

  2. Object Number: 2017178  Size: SH
  3. Remove the intake valve.
  4. Note: Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.

  5. Using J-8062 compressor  (1) and EN-46353 adapter and wooden blocks (2), compress and remove the valve retainer locks.
  6. Note: Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.

  7. Remove the retainer, valve spring and intake valve.

  8. Object Number: 2017179  Size: SH

    Note: Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.

  9. Using J-8062 compressor  (1) and wooden blocks (2), compress and remove the exhaust valve retainer locks.
  10. Note: Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.

  11. Remove the retainer, valve spring and exhaust valve.

  12. Object Number: 2017180  Size: SH
  13. Using EN-46116 remover/installer , remove the valve stem oil seals.

  14. Object Number: 2017181  Size: SH
  15. Using compressed air and a magnetic pick-up tool, remove the valve spring seats by blowing air onto them.

  16. Object Number: 2017182  Size: SH

    Note: If water leaks from any of the straight screw plugs or if the plug is corroded, replace it.

  17. Using a 10 mm straight hexagon wrench, remove the 3 No. 2 STRAIGHT screw plugs and 3 gaskets.
