Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 2016507 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the purge line hose (1).

    2. Object Number: 2016510 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the fuel tank vent hose (2) from the charcoal canister.
  3. Disconnect the charcoal canister filter sub-assembly from the charcoal canister.
  4. Disconnect the fuel tank vent hose (1) from the charcoal canister.

    5. Object Number: 2016513 Size: SH
  5. Remove the 3 bolts (1, 2, 3) and charcoal canister assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2016513 Size: SH
  1. Install the charcoal canister assembly with the 3 bolts (1, 2, 3) and tighten to 19N·m (14 lb ft).

    2. Object Number: 2016510 Size: SH
  2. Connect the fuel tank vent hose (3) to the charcoal canister.
  3. Connect the charcoal canister filter subassembly to the charcoal canister.
  4. Connect the fuel tank vent hose (1) to the charcoal canister.

    5. Object Number: 2016507 Size: SH
  5. Connect the purge line hose (1) and tighten to 5.5 N·m (49 lb in).
