Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2005 🢒 Vibe - AWD 🢒 Body 🢒 Seats 🢒 Rear Split Folding Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 849131 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear seat head restraint (1). Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear seat back cushion. Refer to Rear Split Folding Seat Back Replacement .
  3. Remove rear seat latch knob (11) and retainer (10).

    4. Object Number: 241556 Size: SH
  4. Remove the plastic retainers which secure the seat back cushion cover (1) to the back of the seat.

    5. Object Number: 241636 Size: SH
  5. Cut and remove the hog rings around the perimeter of the back of the rear seat back cushion (1).

    6. Object Number: 849131 Size: SH
  6. Remove the rear seat back cushion cover (6) from the cushion (5).
  7. Remove the seat back latch (8), if necessary. Refer to Rear Seat Back Release Latch Replacement .
  8. Remove the rear seat back cushion pad (5) from the frame (4), if necessary.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 849131 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear seat back cushion pad (5) to the frame (4), if removed.
  2. Install the rear seat back latch (8), if removed. Refer to Rear Seat Back Release Latch Replacement .
  3. Install the rear seat back cushion cover (6) to the seat back cushion (5).
  4. Install the seat latch retainer (10) and knob (11).

    5. Object Number: 404793 Size: SH
  5. Use hog ring pliers (1) to install new hog rings. Ensure that the rear seat back cushion cover is secured to the cushion (2).
  6. Install the plastic retainers which secure the seat back cushion cover to the back of the seat.

    7. Object Number: 849131 Size: SH
  7. Install the rear seat back cushion. Refer to Rear Split Folding Seat Back Replacement .
  8. Install the rear seat head restraint (1). Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
