Removal Procedure

First Design

    Object Number: 1287604 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the secondary AIR pressure sensor (2).
  2. Remove the fastener (4) from the secondary AIR shut off valve (3).
  3. Remove the secondary AIR pressure sensor (2) from the shut off valve (3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1287604 Size: SH
  1. Install the secondary AIR pressure sensor (2) to the shut off valve (3) with the one fastener (4).
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Tighten the secondary AIR pressure sensor fastener (4).
  4. Tighten
Tighten the fastener to 8.8 N·m (77 lb in).

  5. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the AIR pressure sensor (2).

Removal Procedure

Second Design

    Object Number: 1467195 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the secondary AIR pressure sensor (2).
  2. Remove the two fasteners of the AIR pressure sensor (2).
  3. Remove the secondary AIR pressure sensor (2) from the shut off valve (3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1467195 Size: SH
  1. Install the secondary AIR pressure sensor (2) to the shut off valve (3).
  2. Secure the secondary AIR pressure sensor with two fasteners.
  3. Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 5.0 N·m (44 lb in).

  4. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the AIR pressure sensor (2).
