Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 1996 🢒 Trans Sport 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Electrical 🢒 Spark Plug Wires Not Operating Properly

Removal Procedure

    Important: Note the position and location of wires, retainers, studs, etc. for the ease of installation later.

  1. Verify that the ignition key is in the OFF position.
  2. Remove the engine acoustic cover. Refer to Acoustic Engine Cover Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the spark plug wire retaining clips from the engine.

    4. Notice: Twist the spark plug boot one-half turn in order to release the boot. Pull on the spark plug boot only. Do not pull on the spark plug wire or the wire could be damaged.

    Important: Note the position of the spark plug wires before removing them.

  4. Disconnect the spark plug wires.

Installation Procedure
  1. Connect the spark plug wires to the location that they were removed from.
  2. Connect the spark plug wire retaining clips to the engine.
  3. Install the engine acoustic cover. Refer to Acoustic Engine Cover Replacement .
