1. Traction Control Indicator Malfunction |
The instrument panel cluster (IPC) momentarily illuminates the StabiliTrak indicator during the IPC bulb check. When a fault affecting the stabilitrak system is detected, the warning indicator is illuminated.

⇒ | If the indicator does not turn ON and OFF, replace the IPC. |
⇒ | If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance. |
⇒ | If not the specified value, test the signal circuit terminal for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the BCM. |
⇒ | If not the specified value, test the signal circuit for a short to voltage or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the BCM. |
⇒ | If not the specified value, replace the traction control switch. |
⇒ | If greater than the specified range, replace the traction control switch. |
