Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the seat cushion outer trim panel. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1347824 Size: SH
  2. Position the seat fully forward.
  3. Disconnect the shoulder belt from the seat quick disconnect feature by using a flat-bladed tool to press the tab.

    4. Object Number: 981927 Size: SH
  4. Remove the front seat adjuster bolts.
  5. Move the seat to the full rearward position.

    6. Object Number: 981887 Size: SH
  6. Disconnect the seat electrical connectors.
  7. Lift the front seat adjuster hooks from the floor pan.
  8. Remove the seat from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 987349 Size: SH

    Important: This step must be performed to assure proper timing of the adjusters.

  1. Adjust the seat adjuster tracks to the fully rearward position.
  2. Position the seat in the vehicle and engage the front adjuster hooks in the floor pan.

    3. Object Number: 981887 Size: SH
  3. Connect the seat electrical connectors.
  4. Position the seat in the fully forward position to expose the rear bolt locations.

    5. Notice: Refer to Title not found in the Preface section.

  5. Install the seat adjuster bolts.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  6. Install the shoulder belt webbing in the quick disconnect anchor.
  7. Install the seat cushion outer trim panel. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement .
  8. Inspect the front seat belt for proper operation.
