Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2005 🢒 Sunfire 🢒 Body 🢒 Lighting Systems 🢒 Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) Resistor Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the right headlamp assembly. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb Replacement or to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 891895 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the daytime running lamp (DRL) resistor electrical connector.
  4. Remove the DRL resistor bolt.
  5. Remove the DRL resistor from the frame rail.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 891895 Size: SH
  1. Position the DRL resistor to the right frame rail.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the DRL resistor bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 7 N·m (62 lb in).

  3. Connect the DRL resistor electrical connector.
  4. Install the right headlamp assembly. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb Replacement or to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement .
  5. Close the hood.
