Fog Lamp Switch Replacement Pontiac

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 773490  Size: SH
  1. Remove the fog lamp/dimmer switch trim plate from the instrument panel using a small flat-bladed tool.

  2. Object Number: 773657  Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the fog lamp/dimmer switches.

  4. Object Number: 773672  Size: SH
  5. Remove the fog lamp/dimmer switch bulb using a small flat-bladed tool turning counterclockwise, if required.

  6. Object Number: 773666  Size: SH
  7. Release the retainer tabs on the fog lamp switch using a small flat-bladed tool on the back side.

  8. Object Number: 773684  Size: SH
  9. Remove the fog lamp switch from the trim plate.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 773658  Size: SH
  1. Install the fog lamp switch to the trim plate pressing into place until fully seated.

  2. Object Number: 773672  Size: SH
  3. Install the fog lamp/dimmer switch bulb using a small flat-bladed tool turning clockwise, if required.

  4. Object Number: 773657  Size: SH
  5. Connect the electrical connectors to the fog lamp/dimmer switches.

  6. Object Number: 773656  Size: SH
  7. Install the fog lamp/dimmer switch trim plate to the instrument panel pressing into place until fully seated.

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 591282  Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) cluster trim panel to access the fog lamp switch. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  2. Release the retainers on the fog lamp/dimmer switch housing using a small flat-bladed tool.
  3. Remove the fog lamp/dimmer switch (3) housing from the I/P cluster trim panel.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 591282  Size: SH
  1. Install the fog lamp/dimmer switch (3) housing to the I/P cluster trim panel, pressing into place until fully seated.
  2. Install the to the I/P cluster trim panel. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
