  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Backprobe the master window switch harness connector C2. Use the J 39200 Digital Multimeter (DMM) in order to measure the voltage between terminal G and ground.
  3. Place the right front window switch in the DOWN position.

Does the voltage equal the specified value?

B+

Go to Step 2

  1. Backprobe the master window switch harness connector C2. Use the J 39200 DMM in order to measure the voltage between terminal A and ground.
  2. Place the right front window switch in the UP position.

Does the voltage equal the specified value?

B+

Go to Step 3

  1. Disconnect the right front window motor.
  2. Use the J 39200 DMM in order to measure the voltage between terminal B of the right front window harness connector and ground.
  3. Place the left front window switch in the DOWN position.

Does the voltage equal the specified value?

B+

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Replace the master window switch. Refer to Window Switch Replacement - Console .

Is the repair complete?

  1. Use the J 39200 DMM in order to measure the voltage between terminal A of the right front window harness connector and ground.
  2. Place the right front window switch in the UP position.

Does the voltage equal the specified value?

B+

Go to Step 7

Repair the open in CKT 167 between the master window switch and the right front window motor. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the right front window motor. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .

Repair the open in CKT 166 between the master window switch and the right front window motor. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
