Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2000 🢒 Sunfire 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls - 2.2L 🢒 Cruise Control Module Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. For the 2.4L only, remove the cruise control cable cover.
  2. Remove the cruise control cable from the throttle body control bracket.

    3. Object Number: 329490 Size: SH
  3. Remove the cruise control cable from the throttle body cam.
  4. Remove the cruise control cable from the module by turning the cable assembly ¼ turn counterclockwise.

    5. Object Number: 329482 Size: SH
  5. Remove the cable from the ribbon.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the module assembly.

    7. Object Number: 329481 Size: SH
  7. Unclip the hinged retaining strap from the bracket at the top of the module.
  8. Remove the module from the mounting bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 329481 Size: SH
  1. Install the module assembly to the mounting bracket.
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the module.

    3. Object Number: 329482 Size: SH
  3. Connect the cruise control cable to the module ribbon.

    4. Object Number: 329483 Size: SH
  4. Install the cruise control cable to the module assembly by turning the cable assembly ¼ turn clockwise.

    5. Object Number: 329490 Size: SH
  5. Install the cruise control cable to the throttle body control bracket.
  6. Install the cruise control cable to the throttle body cam.
  7. Adjust the cruise control cable. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Adjustment .
  8. For the 2.4L only, install the cruise control cable cover.
  9. Perform A Diagnostic System Check. Refer to Diagnostic System Check - Cruise Control .
