J 23327 Third Clutch Spring Compressor

1. Install J 23327 and compress the reverse clutch piston return springs (229).
2. Remove the reverse clutch piston return spring seat retainer ring (231). Do not let the spring seat catch in the ring groove.
3. Remove J 23327 .



4. Remove the spring seat (230) and the return springs (229).
5. Remove the reverse clutch piston (228). Apply compressed air to the reverse clutch apply fluid passage to aid in removal.



6. Remove the reverse clutch piston inner and outer seals (227, 228).
