Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the Instrument Panel (I/P) carrier. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement .

Important: Pull the tie bar far enough back for the air distribution duct to clear the opening.

2. Remove the I/P tie bar. Refer to Instrument Panel Tie Bar Replacement .
