Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 512032  Size: SH
  1. Remove the underhood relay/fuse center. Refer to Relay/Fuse Center Replacement in Wiring Systems.
  2. Remove the diagonal brace. Refer to Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement in Body Front End.
  3. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement in Engine Electrical.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the front and rear washer pumps.
  5. Disconnect the hoses from the washer pumps.

  7. Remove the three screws and the washer solvent container from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 512031  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the washer solvent container onto the vehicle with three screws.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  3. Connect the hoses to the washer pumps.
  4. Connect the electrical connectors to the washer pumps.
  5. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement in Engine Electrical.
  6. Install the diagonal brace. Refer to Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement in Body Front End.
  7. Install the underhood relay/fuse center. Refer to Relay/Fuse Center Replacement in Wiring Systems.
