Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

1. Remove the rear seats. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement in Seats.
2. Remove the back body pillar trim. Refer to Upper Rear Trim Finish Panel Replacement .
3. Remove the body side upper trim panel. Refer to Third Pillar Trim Replacement .



4. Remove the cup holder from the rear quarter trim.
5. Remove the rear accessory panel from the left side quarter panel. Refer to Rear Accessory Panel Replacement .
6. Remove the retainer bolt from the seat belt retractor. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement in Seat Belts.
7. Remove the upper cargo net retainers. Refer to Cargo Net Replacement in Body Rear End.
8. Remove the liftgate sill plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement .
9. Using J 38778 remove the rear quarter trim panel retainers.
10. Remove the rear quarter trim panel from the vehicle.

1. Install the rear quarter trim panel to the vehicle.
2. Install the rear quarter trim retainers by aligning the retainer with the holes and then pushing the retainers to secure.
3. Install the upper cargo net retainers. Refer to Cargo Net Replacement in Body Rear End.
4. Install the liftgate sill plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement .
5. Install the seat belt retractor retaining bolt. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement in Seat Belts.
6. Install the rear accessory panel to the left side quarter panel. Refer to Rear Accessory Panel Replacement .
7. Install the cup holder to the rear quarter trim.
8. Install the body side upper trim panel. Refer to Third Pillar Trim Replacement .
9. Install the back body pillar trim. Refer to Upper Rear Trim Finish Panel Replacement .
10. Install the rear seats. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement in Seats.
