  1. Turn the Ignition Off.
  2. Test the Ignition 3 voltage circuit to the Seat Heater Module for a short to voltage.

Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 6

  1. Turn the heated seat switch Off.
  2. Turn the Ignition On.
  3. Test the Ignition 3 voltage circuit to the Seat Heater Module for a short to voltage.

Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs

Is there voltage on the Ignition 3 circuit?

Go to Step 5

Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the heated seat switches in the Rear Window Wiper/Washer and Multifunction Switch. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

If a poor connection is not found, replace the Rear Window Wiper/Washer and Multifunction Switch. Refer to Multifunction Switch Assembly Replacement - Instrument Panel in Lighting.
