Removal Procedure
  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  3. Loosen the evaporative pipe line nut.
  4. Remove the evaporative hose assembly.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the A/C evaporative pipe.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Tighten the evaporative pipe line nut to 14 N·m (124 lb in).
  3. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  4. Recharge the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
