Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1225403 Size: SH
  1. Remove the front door sill plate. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  2. Remove the fuel filler door remote handle screws (3).
  3. Disconnect the cable (1).
  4. Remove the fuel filler door remote handle (2).

    5. Object Number: 1225406 Size: SH
  5. Remove the lower center pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  6. Remove the rear door sill plate. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  7. Remove the cargo area rear trim panel. Refer to Cargo Area Rear Trim Panel Replacement .
  8. Remove the lock striker (1) of the fuel filter by turning it rectangularly.

    9. Object Number: 1615026 Size: SH
  9. Remove the fuel filler door remote cable retaining strip.
  10. Disconnect the fuel filler door remote cable  (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1615026 Size: SH
  1. Connect the fuel filler door remote cable (1) to the fuel filler door.
  2. Retain the cable with the strip.

    3. Object Number: 1225394 Size: SH
  3. Install the lock striker of the fuel filler.
  4. Install the cargo area rear trim panel. Refer to Cargo Area Rear Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. Install the rear door sill plate. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  6. Install the lower center pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .

    7. Object Number: 1225397 Size: SH
  7. Connect the fuel filler door remote cable to the handle.
  8. Install the fuel filler door remote handle with the screws.
  9. Install the front door sill plate. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
