Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1220571 Size: SH
  1. Open the liftgate and suitably support it.
  2. Remove the screws (1).
  3. Disconnect the cable (3).
  4. Remove the liftgate lock striker (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1220571 Size: SH
  1. Connect the cable (3).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the liftgate lock striker (2) with the screws (1) and tighten to 22 N·m (16 ft lb).
