Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.

    Warning: Refer to Electric Coolant Fan Warning in the Preface section.

    Warning: Refer to Damaged Fan Blade Warning in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the cooling fan electrical connector (3).
  3. Remove the bolts (2).
  4. Remove the electric cooling fan assembly (1).

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1223124 Size: SH
  1. Install the electric cooling fan assembly with the bolts (1) and tighten to 3.5-4.5 N·m (31-40 lb in).
  2. Connect the cooling fan electrical connector.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
