Notice of Customer Satisfaction Program

2007/ 2008 Chevrolet Spark/Matiz (or Pontiac Matiz)

This is a notice to inform you of a customer satisfaction program that Chevrolet (or Pontiac) has decided to address a potential problem with the A/C compressor in your Matiz / Spark.

Chevrolet (or Pontiac) has received the customer complaints that an abnormal noise occurs in the assembly of A/C compressor in some 2007 & 2008 Matiz / Spark vehicles. In response, Chevrolet (or Pontiac) engineers found that a noise may annoy owners occurring out of the lack of friction when clutch drive engages into clutch pulley while air conditioner is running.

Thus, you are kindly requested to visit your local Chevrolet (or Pontiac) Dealer or Authorized Service Center (ASC) to have the vehicle repaired properly and immediately, if your car is within the following range:

- Matiz/Spark (VIN* 7C322111 ~ 8C348585)

* VIN=Vehicle Identification Number

Suspect clutch drive of A/C compressor in your car will be replaced with no cost to you. This service should take about one hour, so to minimize waiting time, you are recommended to make an appointment in advance.

If you have any question, please feel free to contact Chevrolet (or Pontiac) Customer Assistance Center.

We apologize for the inconvenience.
