SHIFT BUSYNESS IN CRUISE THM 200-4R TRANSMISSION

Some 1981 THM 200-4R "BY" transmissions may experience a shift busyness while in cruise control. Busyness refers to shift cycling between fourth and third gears. This condition is most noticeable while driving up inclines.

When servicing any 1981 THM 200-4R "BY" model transmission for this condition, order service package number 8634995. This package contains:

1 - Valve, 3-4 Throttle 1 - Bushing, 3-4 Throttle Valve 1 - Spring, 3-4 Throttle Valve 1 - Spring, T.V. 1 - Spring, T.V. Mod. Upshift 3 - Pins, Coiled Spring 1 - Instruction Sheet
