The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
After replacing IPC on for another concern on a non ABS equipped vehicle, the ABS lamp is on.
Recommendation/Instructions:
You must inform the exchange center that the vehicle requires an IPC for a non ABS equipped vehicle. The exchange center will make sure the bit is flipped so the ABS indicator will not come on.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
