Side Window Air Outlet Replacement Right

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1203017 Size: SH
  1. Using the finger opening, pull the right instrument panel (I/P) compartment access hole cover from the I/P trim pad. Remove the right I/P compartment access hole cover.

    2. Object Number: 1230641 Size: SH
  2. Loosen the connector bolt. Disconnect the body wiring harness from the accessory wiring junction block. Pull the harness away from the block for access.
  3. Reposition the wires at the I/P opening for access.

    4. Object Number: 1230628 Size: SH
  4. Use a flexible driver with a PHILLIPS® bit to remove the side window defog outlet grille screw.

    5. Object Number: 1230644 Size: SH
  5. Remove the side window defog outlet grille.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1230644 Size: SH
  1. Align the side window defog outlet grille to the I/P trim pad.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Use a flexible driver with a PHILLIPS® bit to install the side window defog outlet grille screw.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  3. Connect the body wiring harness to the accessory wiring junction block. Tighten the connector bolt.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the connector bolt to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  4. Reposition and install the wire retainers at the I/P opening.

  5. Install the right I/P compartment access hole cover to the I/P trim pad.

Side Window Air Outlet Replacement Left

The left side window defog outlet grille is serviced as part of the instrument panel cluster trim bezel assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
