Navigation Antenna Coaxial Cable Replacement Instrument Panel Extension Cable

1. Remove the left instrument panel (I/P) outer trim cover.



2. Disconnect the antenna extension cable (2) from the antenna cable.
3. Remove the left I/P insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.



4. Disconnect the antenna extension cable from the communication interface module. The cable is on the passenger side of the module.
5. Cut off the visible ends of the antenna extension cable.

1. Route the antenna extension cable. Secure the cable.
2. Connect the antenna extension cable to the communication interface module.
3. Install the left I/P insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.



4. Connect the antenna extension cable from the module to the antenna cable.



5. Install the left I/P outer trim cover.

Navigation Antenna Coaxial Cable Replacement Body Cable

1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
3. Remove the sail panels. Refer to Sail Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
4. Remove the rear quarter lower panels. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
5. Remove the rear upper quarter trim panels. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
6. Remove the rear window shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.



7. Disconnect the navigation antenna coaxial cable from the navigation antenna (2).



8. Remove the left front carpet retainer. Refer to Front Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.
9. Remove the lower center pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
10. Adjust the carpet for access to the antenna cable (2) and body harness as required. Refer to Front Floor Panel Carpet Replacement in Interior Trim.



11. Remove the left instrument panel (I/P) compartment access hole cover.



12. Disconnect the antenna cable from the antenna extension cable (2).
13. Cut off the visible ends of the antenna cable from the wiring harness in the following locations:

•	The kick panel area

•	The rear shelf area

1. Install the antenna cable (2) to the vehicle. Use electrical tape in order to secure the antenna cable to the top of the wiring harness. Secure the cable to the harness at least every 150 mm (6 in).



2. Connect the antenna cable to the antenna extension cable.



3. Install the left I/P compartment access hole cover.
4. Install the carpet. Refer to Front Floor Panel Carpet Replacement in Interior Trim.
5. Install the lower center pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
6. Install the left front carpet retainer. Refer to Front Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.



7. Connect the navigation antenna coaxial cable to the navigation antenna (2).
8. Install the rear window shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
9. Install the rear upper quarter trim panels. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
10. Install the rear quarter lower panels. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
11. Install the sail panels. Refer to Sail Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
12. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
13. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
