Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement Fold Flat

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the seat back panel. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the front seat head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 870733 Size: SH
  3. Remove the J-hooks on the back side of the trim cover.

    4. Object Number: 870734 Size: SH
  4. Remove the hook and loop connectors on the lower back side of the trim cover.
  5. Remove the head restraint retainers. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Retainer Replacement .

    6. Object Number: 870737 Size: SH
  6. Remove the hog rings from the trim cover to the lower pad.
  7. Remove the cover from the seat back by pulling the cover up and over the pad.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the seat trim cover on the seat back.
  2. Install the head restraint retainers but not the head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Retainer Replacement .
  3. Pull the trim cover down over the pad.

    4. Object Number: 870732 Size: SH
  4. Install the J-hooks on the back side of the trim cover.

    5. Object Number: 870734 Size: SH
  5. Install the hook and loop connectors on the lower back side of the trim cover.

    6. Object Number: 870737 Size: SH
  6. Install the hog rings.
  7. Install the seat back panel. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement .
  8. Install the head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .

Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement Except Fold Flat

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  2. Disengage the J-hook on the bottom of the seat back trim.

    3. Object Number: 519883 Size: SH
  3. Pull the trim half-way up the seat. Use your hand to disengage the hook and loop retainers on the seat back pad.
  4. Reach under the seat back cover and remove the head restraint retainers. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Retainer Replacement .
  5. Remove the seat back cover by pulling the cover up and over the pad.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the seat back cover and pull the cover one third down.
  2. Install the head restraint retainers. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Retainer Replacement .
  3. Pull the trim all the way down.

    4. Object Number: 520405 Size: SH
  4. Use firm hand pressure to fasten the hook and loop retainers, securing the cover to the pad.
  5. Engage the J-hook on the seat trim bottom edge.
  6. Install the head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
