- Pre-start the bolts specified sequence (1, 2, 3 to the
new window regulator and motor.
- Install the power window motor to the window regulator. Refer to
Rear Side Door Window Regulator Motor Replacement
.
- Position the window regulator and motor into the locating slots of the
inner door panel.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Important: In order to ensure proper orientation of the window regulator to the door, tighten
the window regulator bolts in the specified sequence (1,2,3).
- Install the window regulator and motor bolts in the specified sequence (1, 2, 3)
to the door.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Connect the electrical connector (2)
to the power window motor by pushing in on the tab (1).
- Remove the masking tape.
- Lower the rear door window far enough in order to gain access to the bolts (1)
that attach the window to the regulator.
- Install the bolts (1) that attach the window to the regulator.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Inspect the window for proper operation.
- Install the rear door water deflector. Refer to

- Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to
Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
