Removal Procedure

    Important: When removing a power window switch, the ignition switch must be in the OFF position. This will eliminate the possibility of shorting out the power window switch when using a metal tool to remove the power window switch from the wiring harness.

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 858100  Size: SH
  3. Disengage the electrical connectors from the following switches:
  4. • Rear compartment lid switch (1)
    • The power window switch (2)
    • The door lock switch (3)
    • The power mirror switch(4)
  5. Remove the electrical harness from the trim panel.

  6. Object Number: 858248  Size: SH
  7. Using a small, flat-bladed tool, remove the switches from the mounting bezel.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 858248  Size: SH
  1. Install the following switches into the mounting bezel:
  2. • Rear compartment lid switch
    • The power window switch
    • The door lock switch
    • The power mirror switch

    Object Number: 858102  Size: SH
  3. Position the trim panel electrical harness on the trim panel.
  4. Connect the electrical connectors to the switches.
  5. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
