The remote vehicle start (RVS) will not operate under the following conditions:
• | The hazard switch in the ON position. |
• | A hazard switch diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is set. |
• | The vehicle hood is open. |
• | A hood ajar switch DTC is set. |
• | An automatic transmission shift lock control system DTC is set. |
• | The ignition key is in the ignition. |
• | A vehicle speed signal is detected by the engine control module (ECM) / powertrain control module (PCM). |
• | A vehicle DTC that illuminates the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL). |
