Tire Pressure Monitor System Message Displayed on DIC - kw air data inflate inoperative intermittent low pressure sensor tire wheel UJ6

When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

Customer may advise that Check Tire Pressure message is on DIC.

A technician may be diagnosing a complaint that the Check Tire Pressure message is on in the Driver Information Center and cannot determine any malfunction in the system. There may not be any DTCs or visible defects. Inspect the rear wheel speed sensor harnesses 5-10 inches (122.5 to 245 mm) inboard of the suspension knuckles for the presence of either an orange or white tape label being on the left rear harness. If it is on the left harness, it is installed incorrectly and should be swapped with the right side where it belongs. Both rear wheel speed sensors share the same connector and have simliar length harnesses.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance. This diagnostic approach was developed for the vehicle with the VIN you entered and should not be automatically be used for other vehicles with similar symptoms.
