Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1332713 Size: SH
  1. Open the instrument panel (I/P) compartment. If the I/P compartment is equipped with a dampener, disengage the door stop using the following procedure:
    2. 1.1. Press the upper door stop (2) toward the center of the vehicle.
    1.2. Rotate the door away from the compartment.

  2. If the I/P compartment is not equipped with a dampener, disengage the door stop as shown.

    3. Object Number: 928809 Size: SH
  3. Pull the I/P accessory trim plate rearward slightly for access to the edge of the trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 929399 Size: SH
  4. Pull the I/P inboard trim plate toward the passenger door opening. Remove the I/P trim plate.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 929399 Size: SH
  1. Align the I/P outboard trim plate retainers to the slots in the I/P trim pad. Press the trim plate to the I/P trim pad.

    2. Object Number: 928809 Size: SH
  2. Install the I/P accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 1332713 Size: SH
  3. If the I/P compartment is equipped with a dampener engage the door stop using the following procedure:
    4. 3.1. Press the upper door stop (2) toward the center of the vehicle.
    3.2. Rotate the door up to the compartment.

  4. If the I/P compartment is not equipped with a dampener, install the door stop as shown.
  5. Close the I/P compartment.
