Tools Required

J-38125 Terminal Repair Kit

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
2. Remove the right instrument panel (I/P) insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
3. Remove the I/P compartment door. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
4. Remove the I/P compartment.



5. Disengage the fuse block retainers from the I/P trim pad.



6. Disconnect the wiring harness retainer (1) from the I/P trim pad (2).



7. Remove the fuse block.



8. Remove the fuses and the circuit breakers from the fuse block. Refer to Electrical Center Identification Views .



9. Using the correct tool from J-38125 , remove the wires from the fuse block. Refer to Electrical Center Identification Views .
10. Remove the fuse block.

1. Install the wires to the fuse block. Refer to Electrical Center Identification Views .



2. Install the fuses and the circuit breakers to the fuse block. Refer to Electrical Center Identification Views .



3. Position the fuse block to the I/P.



4. Connect the wiring harness retainer (1) to the I/P trim pad (2).



5. Engage the fuse block retainers to the I/P trim pad.



6. Install the I/P compartment.
7. Install the I/P compartment door. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
8. Install the right I/P insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
9. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
